Let’s re-purpose a can into a beautiful Bella Bee!

Time:

30 Minutes

– One Can (empty)
– Paper
– Scissors
– Paints
– Googly Eyes (optional)
– Felt or a pipe cleaner
– Sticky tape

This activity opens conversation about how we can re-use things that we would normally throw away

Cut a strip of paper the same width as your can, and paint this yellow, and then add black stripes
While your paint dries, use the left over paper to cut out two wings
Paint the base of your can black, this will be Bella Bee’s face
When your paint is dry, wrap your painted paper around the can, and use sticky tape to secure
Now, add your wings
Finally it is time to stick on your googly eyes, and two antenna’s (you could use a pipe cleaner, card, or even felt)
