Benefits

One of the greatest benefits of sensory play is that it helps your childs brain to build connections in a meaningful way. We process and understand the world around us through our senses. The more we engage the senses, the more our kids understand what they are experiencing.

  1.  Mix equal parts of flour and cocoa powder
  2.  Add oil of your choice until you get a mixture that is not too liquid and not too gloopy.  The idea is to get a dough that you can make little balls with.
  3. Put the toy insects in the container and include a few items from the kitchen to extend the sensory play.
  4. Enjoy! This sensory bin provides countless opportunities for sensory exploration and it is sure to provide hours of fun to toddlers.
