You will need:

– Double sided tape or String
– Scissors
– Walking Shoes

Journey Sticks are perfect for when you want to keep a walk interesting with some nature play, and you can also use them to introduce lots of discussion about nature and how to take care of it.

Find a special stick from the ground! A nice strong, sturdy stick works best! (For young toddlers, they may find this activity easier using a strip of cardboard with double sided sticky tape)
Along the way, find natures treasures and attach them to your stick using string or tape.
As you gather your treasures, attach them to your stick from the top of the stick to the bottom, so that you can read the story of your journey!
When you get home, you can use your stick to remember your journey and tell everyone the tale of your adventure!
