Benefits

Sensory play – Getting those little feet covered in paint is a fun sensory experience for children. Did you know that sensory experiences can help to build nerve connections in the brain and encourage the development of language and motor skills? Emotional Intelligence – Regular reminders of what makes us unique and being proud of them can boost our self esteem. Keepsake – Date this piece of art as when you look back on it, I’m sure this little footprint will look even smaller!
  1. Paint the underneath of your child’s foot with yellow (washable) paint
  2. Firmly place a painted foot onto paper until a footprint is formed.
  3. Wait to dry
  4. Add some details to make the footprint resemble a bee. Your child can do this!
  5. Write next to the bee ‘Proud to BEE me’
