Paper or Card
Pen
Sticks, leaves and other nature treasures
Glue (optional should you wish to stick it down)

Benefits

This activity provides an opportunity to discuss your child’s unique strengths, features and abilities which makes them special. Giving a child the space and resources to define their individuality will affirm the child’s belief in themselves.
  1. Draw an outline of a face on some paper or card.
  2. Head outside on a nature walk and collect some nature treasures like sticks and leaves. 
  3. Decorate your face outline with the items you’ve found to look like you! 
  4. Think of things that make you special.
