Benefits

Using balloons is an unstructured way of exploring paint which adds a fun sensory element as the child uses their hands to manipulate the balloon and paint to create the prints.
  1. Decide if you would like to make your own caterpillar, bug or print off a Cress template from our playsheet page.
  2. Squirt some paint into a dish. You can choose more than one colour!
  3. Blow up a balloon to a size you think will work best!
  4. Dip the balloon into and paint and then make prints onto your paper.
  5. Once finished and the paint has dried, add some details with pens.
